Joss:
luck or fate
Tai Tai:
first lady or head wife
I spotted Tai in
Don's trailer at Nationals in 2002. She was the runt and was
constantly harassing the rest of the litter. She turned out as
large or larger than the rest of her litter. Tai has always been
a very dominant female asserting herself arrogantly among the
other bulldogs. As a pup she had a complicated ankle break and
she was left with a lump on her ankle. Then later one of the
Brahmans kicked her and fractured her femur into the ball, it
never seems to bother her. The vet said she could not pass an
OFA because of it, although her hips are fine. She never placed
well in shows. She is a very masculine female, a working dog she
caught from the age of about 9 months. She got her CD I & CD II
under Don Matthews at about 1 year. She worked cattle until she
was 2 along with Black Jack. She did very well in OB and produces excellent dogs with
good temperament drive and good bone.
